meatball had invited some of his friends to come over tonight... can't wait for the party to start! we are going to have a taco party, also i  made some strawberry shortcake cupcakes :D party is gonna be wild!

i made some buckle blueberry coffee cake! i may had put the better a little too long in the oven, so it was kinda crumble-ly...but other than that it tasted pretty good. meatball loves it

Word of the day "Epic-ness"

1st of all... NO COOKING today, I'm hanging out with Brenda. but that's not what so epic about it.  after brenda's thing meatball received a text from Charles, asking him if he wanted to go to Vegas... it was a random mgs and why not? let's just go! we showered get ready and stuff and my roommate Kevin was asking me "what are u guys doing? " so i replied "VEGAS" upon hearing that... he told me that he wanted to go too.. he also told me that he had one of those stay for free coupons from stratosphere in the mail. i was like.. sure why not! the more the merrier! this was the beginning of the 

E-P-I-C-N-E-S-S:

1.   we waited for everyone to arrive at my house (coz we have decided to take meatball's car)
2.  as usual Nik was the last one to arrive 
3.  pre-buss session a.k.a chugging some alcohol
4.  drive over to Dolphin Bay (chinese rest. to get some food)
5.  D-R-A-M-A happened
6.  Charles and Nik decided not to go anymore.
7.  Meatball had to drive home to drop them off
8.  we (meatball,kevin and I) FINALLY left the house at about 12-ish...
9.  drove for 4 hours
10.  arrived at the hotel about 4-5am in the morning
11.  pass out for a little bit (i couldn't really sleep  i don't know why?)
12.  woke up about 10-11 in the morning and we all got ready for the day
13.  kevin wanted to iron his cloth before going down to casino, but guess what? the iron broke and when we wanted to ask for new iron the phone broke.... MORE DRAMA
14.  Kevin complaint and we had to move to 2 more different rooms! the perk was that we got to watch a free show! some sexual sexy show... call "BITE" it's a Vampire theme show
15.  so finally we were ready to gamble... more like kevin was ready to gamble.
16.  our initial plan.... go gamble for a little wait till the sun went down and walked down the strip, eat some dinner and end it with the Vampire show.
17. BUT no.... Kevin was a gamble addict! we spend the whole day prolly 14-16 hours in the SAME casino. (meatball and i don't gamble much, we just watched kevin gamble his life away)
18. he was winning up to $400 and then he lost them all! (right before the show)
19. went to the show watch some half naked girls dancing (they were topless)
20. after the show we decided to go home,since kevin has no more money. Never in my entire life gone to Vegas and not walked on the strip.
21. drove him and killed a bunny
22. arrived at 5am and passed out.
23. woke up at 12 and didn't do much stuff, ended up watching videos all day long

Mission for the month or 2

while waiting for "Meatball" to figure out which school will accept him i have decided to cook different food "everyday"... that is also including baking cakes every now and then.

for the last few days i had been cooking/baking different food, such as:

• chinese egg tart
• indonesian fried rice 
• thai yellow curry
• shrimp scampi with linguini 
• corn fritters
• bake chicken and rice ( total failure) will try again

today i made some red velvet cupcakes for the 1st time also my very first casserole. it was crab with shell macaroni casserole. they both turned out to be good. really happy with them.

this project is a center for international students who have been accepted to california state university long beach. the center will provide assistance to these international students during their transition to american residence and american life in general. 

highlights for this center are:

• temporary student living quarters 
• information centers to assist students with essential issues (e.g., how to get a car, how to open a bank account, seminars on american living)
• housing and roommate assistance service
• local shuttle service to reach school and surrounding area tours
• community involvement 
• information about other international travel options

Concept statement

the concept for this project is integration. this student center integrates international students into the long beach community by acting as a hub that gives them a temporary residence and resource center. the goal is to help these students become fully participating members of the csulb community.

Random Party

Never knew that getting invited to a random party could be fun! Last Saturday Melody asked me if i want to go on a limo ride for a girl's birthday party, of course I said YES to it. I have never been on a limo ride and it's free, so why not? Free stuff is always good. hahahhaha...

I was told that the Limo set off from the Birthday girl's house (irvine) and would drop us off at Area, a club in Hollywood and when we were done we would all ride back together to Irvine. Melody and I sat towards the front of the limo, and there were two more girls sitting with us. Those two girls are my two new friends. They are Seijo the legit drug dealer and Tammy the dentist. We had some drinks in the Limo, so by the time we got to the club, we were pretty buzz. Everything when well until one of us got kicked out from the club. We were kicked out pretty early... about 12.30am ish... It was my first experienced getting kicked out of a club :) I think it wasn't that bad, I mean I had a lot of fun that night and I made new friends!
